The stable complex consists of a range of boxes, These
are spacious, well ventilated and fitted
with rubber matting. Each box is set
up with shaving beds, individual water
supply and feed containers.
We find the horses are very relaxed
inside the stables as the top half of
the partitions are divided by bars instead
of solid walls allowing the horses to
see each other throughout the day and
night.
We are very fortunate to have
plenty of field space, (post
and rail, & Electric fencing) and we are therefore
able to offer - All year round turnout.
Our Six furlong all-weather exercise
track, is one of the best tracks
in Berkshire and has recently
been resurfaced. The track is
perfect for pre-race/event fittening
but also is great for general
fitness of all competition horses
and ponies, at any time of the
year.
We have Two arenas; Both 20m x 60m.
One arena has recently been
given a brand new surface, with top quality
sand and carpet fibre, which is
totally all weather. The other
one also has mirrors spanning the width of the school down one end. Both arenas are equipped with flood lights allowing clients
to ride comfortably in the dark.
The Gallop track and arenas are
also regularly harrowed.
We now
also have a Horse Walker in
place on the main yard.
Lunging pen is 20m diameter with
extra high fence for loose schooling.
We also have a Jumping Paddock,
which is large and well maintained.
For your own comfort, tack
rooms are heated and have
hot water. There are no
more than 9 clients to a
tack room so you are sure
to find your own space.
These rooms are secured
and locked every night to
ensure the safety of your
tack. The lounge/coffee
area is comfortable and
heated and allows you to
view the outdoor ménage
whilst having a rest. We
also have new showers and
heated changing area for
your comfort.
There are commercial size
washing machines on site
to do all your washing;
from the largest rugs to
bandages and boots.
The
yard itself is both friendly and peaceful,
giving the horse a perfect atmosphere in which
to concentrate on either relaxation or work.
